Luna sat beneath her favorite Willow tree working on her latest poem when she began to wonder where Star was. Star was the most beautiful pegasus she had ever seen. She had a mahogany pelt and she just loved to watch Star fly. Standing up she let out a piercing whistle to call her to her. As she waited for Pegasus to show up to packed up her writting utensils and paper. She would finish her poem later right now she felt like flying and scanning the area for trouble. Luna knew star hated to fight but that didn't mean she couldn't help scan the area for trouble.
Star was near a group of apple trees munching on an apple she had pulled off when she heard Luna call her. She quickly finished her apple before spreading her wings and taking flight. She loved the feel of the wind through her mane and let out a soft nicker. Star quickly flew to the other side of the garden and landed softly on the ground just as Luna finished packing up her stuff and crabbed her bow and arrows. "Morning Luna where are we going patroling or just off to practise with your bow and arrows?

Ah, the Marble Castle that housed the Queen of Light. How magnificent, how grand, how... boring. Sloth had found his way to the Light Territory in an attempt to locate some form of entertainment. He had slept through three days and found himself filled with energy and a sense of wander lush, the former was something he usually never felt unless he was sapping energy from unsuspecting victims. He had already explored the neutral territories and the domain of the Dark Queen and knew them intimately. He figured he might as well become acquainted with the workings of the light kingdom. He would have never imagined that they were so dull though. The people here were too kind, too nice, all of them filled with good cheer despite the war that was going on. This kind of peace upset Sloth for some reason, finding that the people about him were to placid. An aura shifted about him as he walked. An aura of laziness that forced people to stop working and to leave their duties for another time.
As Sloth walked, spreading his spell of disinterest and drowsiness, he came across the castle. Taking interest in it he withdrew his aura and looked over it. It was the perfect counterpart to the dark citadel that Andarial inhabited. He wondered just how her sister acted. The thought propelled Sloth forward and toward the garden. They were a particular nice place for him to lay about and he figured he might as well get some well deserved rest before moving on. After all, he'd been active for a full three hours. He deserved some sort of nap or at lease a light doze. He smiled as he walked into the garden, his blue hooded sweatshirt wrapped around him as he prepped himself for sleep.
As he wander along the garden he spotted something not too far off. It was a girl and a horse. He blinked rapidly when the horse ended up having wings. Oh, he thought to himself as he inched forward. Sloth hadn't seen a Pegasus in a rather long time. A lazy smile spread across his face as he made his way toward the winged horse and it's owner. "Hello dear," Sloth said as he looked at the girl. The Sins were still unknown to the world. They were a myth made reality there was no way the girl could have known of him which meant he would have to make another false identity. "It's a beautiful day out, isn't it?" he said, merely being friendly.

Luna smiled and patted Star's nose. "I thought we go on patrol. Everybody else let's there guard go somebody needs to keep an eye out for danger. You up to it Star?" Just as she finished her sentence she had a funny feeling she was being watched. When she heard someone speak to her, she jumped. She hadn't heard any noise coming from them when he was walking. Giving the guy a quick look she wasn't sure what to make of him. "Morning sir you are right it is very beautiful out. Are you lost if so I can give you directions." She said in a polite voice though she had an odd feeling that he couldn't be trusted. She shrugged it off though. Evil had no way of getting this near to the castle with out being spotted and than having the alarm called.
Star was the first to detect the stranger and pawed the ground nervously. She prance around trying to get a little farther from the new comer. She normally liked everyone but she got a bad vibe off of him. She hid her head behind Luna and nickered softly. Star had the urge to open her wings and fly as far and as fast as she could to get away from this man. And take Luna with her to keep her safe.

"No, no," Sloth said as he smiled sincerely at the girl. "I was just bored and thought it might be interesting to take a stroll in her majesty's garden." he said as he shoved his hands into his pocket and looked over it. "I saw you on the way and decided to be polite and just give you a greeting. You know, be a gentleman and all." he said adopting the demeanor of a kind peasant. Sloth had many different faces that he wore. It was odd that he was able to keep up with them all. He often grew bored of them though and shed them in any way possible. He hadn't yet come up with a name for this persona but he would in due time. "It's not often that I get to see one of her majesty's warriors with their beast in such a peaceful moment." he laughed sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head.
"I guess curiosity played apart in me coming up here as well." he said as he looked toward the woman's steed. He smiled at it and then cast a spell of drowsiness at her. It wouldn't be detected by her owner and would lull her into a sense of security. Sloth wasn't too fond of beast. They had a way of picking out the Sins and they Sins had discovered ways to take them out of the immediate picture. They layered their magics over them so they were to filled with a certain sin to inform their master. Typically they acted stranger than usual and then once the Sin was gone they would turn back to their original selves. Sloth's was the kindest of them, well... at times it could be the kindest. Other's it was possibly the worst.
"May I ask your name, miss?" he asked as he looked toward the woman once again, his aura completely missing her, leaving her as she was originally.

Luna smiled softly and looked around the garden. "It is beautiful and a wonderful place to come and relax when you need to get away from the stress of every day life." Luna's silver eyes returned back to the young man in front of her. Her eyes quickly scanned over him. He wasn't bad looking silver eyes just like herself. He seemed to be very muscular. She figured it was from working the fields his hole life. "Sure my name is Luna and this here is Star. Would you like to join us we where just about to go and scan the are for any trouble. What do you say?"
Star nickered softly as she felt her energy drain she began to feel so tired and sad. She didn't feel up to eating let alone flying about the country. She dragged herself a near by tree and laid down. She fought to keep her eyes open but was losing the fight. There was something she had to tell Luna but she....she couldn't remember. She was so tired. Why was she tired? She had bean full of energy only moment ago before the peasant arrived. If only she had the energy to think about it. Her head rested on the ground and she closed her eyes unable to keep them open any more.

"I'd love to, Miss Luna." Sloth said with a bright and cheery smile, his eyes closing as he did so. "It's always nice to walk around town with some company. I hope I won't be too much of a bother for you and Star over there." Sloth barely noticed the similarities between him and the girl, specifically the fact that she had silver eyes. Sloth's physical appearance mattered very little to him, keeping it up only to please his siblings, specifically his sisters: all five of them, plus the feminine Pride. Between all of them he learned to keep himself looking groomed, but he never cared about it. It was just something he had to do which, sadly, required effort.
"My name is Ace, by the way." he said as he performed a slight bow before her. Something peasants often did before the company of a Lady of the court. If he didn't it was punishable by time in the prison and possibly time in the stocks and Sloth wasn't in the mood to smooth talk himself out of a problem if he could avoid it.
"Your beast seems to look a little tired." Sloth said as he pointed at the Pegasus. It hurt him to do that to a creature he was interested in but it needed to be done. He couldn't very well have them both going on about the fact that he didn't feel like a normal human. If word got around that Demon's existed it would spell trouble for the Sins. Though not much. If worse came to worse they would just retreat into their hidden home and stay there until they were forgotten again. It would be the easiest on Sloth would most definitely sleep through the whole ordeal. As he looked over the beast he pulled his aura back into his body allowing it to sleep peacefully and without thoughts of sadness and despair.

Luna smiled and grabbed her bow and arrowsjust in case. She quickly slung them on her back where they would be of easy reach. "Please call me Luna. I hate it when people call me miss," she laughed softly and quickly dusted of her dress that had pieces of grass and bit's of dirt on it from sitting on the ground. "It will be not bother at all. Me and Star patrol the are at this time every day. It will be nice to have company as I do my rounds." Luna waited for him to stand back up straight after bowing. "It is nice to meet you Ace. Is that a nick name or your actual name? If it is a nick name I would love to hear the story that go's with how you got it." Luna's eyes darted to Star to see that Ace was right. Star did look tired which was weird. She was never tired at this time of day. She always loved to help patrol the land. "I hope she isn't sick." Luna quickly walked over to Star and gently rubbed her nose. "Sleep well my friend. I'll be back shortly."
Star sighed in her sleep as the sadness and despair slowly disappeared. She could faintly hear Luna's voice but didn't understand what she was saying. The world was slowly fading away as she drifted off to sleep.
