Wulf was rushing through the forest, Andee was clinging to his back, her feet curved around his ribcage and hands curled around the horn of the saddle. Her slim body leaned over him as they moved quickly through the branches, trying to protect her eyes from the whipping twigs and sticks that still clung to their trees. She had a large smile on her face, she had no need to fly when she could run at this speed. His speed may not be as fast as a demon but he was faster than most beasts that were his size, as he had long raptor-like legs that moved with grace and fluidity that few had seen before. He ran much like a greyhound.
He slowed to s gentle and proud walk as he moved through to a small stream. They were working on speed training today. Though why they needed to do any training at all was a mystery because a truce might well be happening soon. But in Andee's mind there were always going to be wars and battle being fought. So she must always be ready for that time when she would be needed. That time when she would have to lead her troops into battle and that time could be at any time.
As Wulf lowered his heads to get a drink Andee slipped down from his back. She walked a little ways away from him and inhaled deeply. The scent of the forest swirled around her, the heady smell of rotting foliage and the wonderful smell of damp and muddy earth. Her boots made no sound at all as she moved through the undergrowth, a little further away from Wulf. The forest, just after it rained, was always almost silent, besides the few chirps of waking birds here and there. No insects had yet to come out. She was the only one here pretty much. It was refreshing and wonderful.

While others were preparing for wars that weren’t there yet, Alice was spending her time alone in the near forests at her home. She loved to travel and her home often changed, but now she had settled down in an old house that was located close at forest she still needed to discover. The isolation of being alone was like a bless, and she enjoyed every moment of it. Not to think of the problems everyone was having with the divided worlds. Good and evil, none of those were really bothering the young elf. She always called herself being the one who stands between, the neutral one. Today the young elf had decided to take a walk in the forest. The rain had stopped leaving a sweet and fresh scent on the leaves that was filling her nose and clear her mind. A smile was noticeable on her face as she made her way through the with leaf and branches covered roads. Whenever she was placing her feet a soft sound was sounded of breaking branches but it was loud enough in a normally quiet forest. In her right hand she had a small but effective light ball that was lightning the way around her. The leaves above her were preventing the weak sun to break through the blanket of green.
For as much she knew she was alone and there were no other sounds around her then the sound of the animals that were living her and her own soft footsteps. Not realizing how long she had walked she looked around, in every direction around her she only could see the same and there was no sign of a changing landscape. This forest really was huge but she wasn’t quite in the mood to be amazed about it. Instead she had tried to find her way out but no matter how long she walked she wasn’t finding the way she came from. Which already was a mission impossible because everything was looking the same, everywhere the threes were looking the same and even the scent was looking different then the sweet smell that had filled her nose before. As she raised her hand up in the air to make the circle of light around her a little bigger she didn’t saw anything special. Her ears were catching a sound of something approaching her. Footsteps of an animal, she could hear the different between the steps of a human and an animal. With a movement of her hand, as if she was holding a candle and wanted to extinguish the little flame on top of it, the ball in her hand dimmed down and faded into nothing. She lowered her arm again, letting it hang next to her body as she focused on her ears without making a movement. The sound came closer but before she was able to see anything the sound seem to fade away already. When she noticed it was gone again she was on her guard and turned around without making too much sound. It had stopped and it still was nearby, she just couldn’t see it.
With her head slightly tilled to where she had heard the sound stopped she made her way closer. It was the flaw of her being that she wasn’t able to see very well in the darkness, probably because she had the ability of the light and thunder. However Alice knew it wouldn’t be wise to use her ability this time, because it would tell that she was there. So instead she slowly made her way closer to the thing she had heard, curious but yet on her guard.

She paused, her ears picking up a sound that sounded like the wind stirring the damp leaves, but she wasn't quite sure that was what she was hearing. She listened intently and then suddenly the hairs on the back of her neck were standing on end. Someone was in the forest. Someone besides herself and the animals. They were close to her too, and though she wasn't near Wulf, he called out to her in her mind. Andee, there is someone here. I don't know where but I can smell them, his thoughts gently floated into her mind.
She nodded, even though he couldn't see her and sent an affirming sound through their link. Calling out she said, "Come out, come out, little watcher." Her voice was mocking and her hands had fallen to her two scimitars that she always carried with her. Her tiger claws were only with her during real battles usually, like battles that were involves with the war. If this was a opponent she was ready. She would destroy them with ease, or so that's what she thought, she had always been a prideful person.
Her gaze searched the dark undergrowth, her golden glance moving back and forth quickly. Would this person take her challenge? Who were they? Whoever they were she wasn't worried, she could take on anyone but her sister and of course a few others but they were unknown to her right now. A small smirk curved her black lips as she heard Wulf make his way toward her. For such a large Beast he moved quietly. He was just an amazing creature in her mind and the perfect companion for her. He complemented her perfectly. Balancing out all her rough spots.

It had noticed her. Alice froze when she heard a voice calling her to show herself. The sound was in a language she recognized. It was a creature just like her: a human being, while she had expected it to be an animal. The voice she had heard was sounding closer then she had realized and as she stood there without making any movement her ears were scanning the area. If that person noticed that she was there then maybe it was watching her right now. She looked up but again she saw no one. How frustrating.
It maybe would be a foolish mistake she was going to make but her curious won from her fear as she made her way closer to the person that had called her. It had been a female, that couldn’t be much of a dangerous. Alice was a person that did not had many problems with other human-like creatures. If it was a female or a male, it hardly made any different because her calm and nice attitude mostly saved herself out of situations. Not sure if it would work this time she carefully made her way into the direction she had heard the voice. She placed her hand on a three as she looked around it too see the person. A dark elf was standing there with a huge beast next to her. That beast had caused the sounds of the feet on the ground, which would explain why she hadn’t noticed there also had been a elf there. Now she had come so close it was better to simply reveal her. She sighed once and then let her hand hang next to her body as she walked around the three as she kept her eyes locked on the two creatures in front of her. “Here I am.” She said with a calm and soft voice as she raised her hands with a weak smile on her face to show she was unarmed. Alice had no intention to start a fight with someone and especially not when this person was on a complete other side then her. However as the elf in front of her was wielding her weapons it seemed she had other intentions. Alice looked from the face of the female to her beast and then to the weapons she was holding. “I’m not here to fight.” Alice tried, trying to calm the pressure that was hanging in the air. It was so tensed that she could almost feel it if she would stick her hand out.
Even so, why would this female wanted to fight anyway? This forest was not her ground, and it was open for everyone. Alice always loved to take a walk through a forest and not even a elf like her would stop her from doing that. There was nothing she was doing wrong. Confident of her own good she looked at the female as she tried to ignore the warning bells in her head and to hide her fear. Everything would end good.

She waited a couple more minutes. Her body tensed and ready to fight. Then the sound of leaves rustling caught her attention and cause her to swing to the left. The elf that walked out was a light elf, if her ears were anything to note it told her she was a noble. A noble light elf. How wonderful. She watched her with a critical eye and listened to what she said. Noticing she had no weapons that Andee could see, Andarial lowered her hands to her sides and relaxed slightly. She wasn't a coward she preferred not killing people unless they had a weapon. Even when she did executions she gave them a weapon to defend themselves with. If they managed to beat her then she wouldn't kill them.
Her eyes narrowed and she watched the woman not trusting her. Light Elves would do anything to take down the Dark Queen. But perhaps this noble didn't care right now and was just unlucky enough to be caught without a weapon and her Beast. She glanced over at Wulf and saw that he had sat down and relaxed. Obviously her perceived no threat from this woman. She nodded in a show of affirmation, that she understood and instead walked over to lean against a tree. The posture was nonchalant but she was just waiting for one wrong move and then the woman would taste her blade.
"You are indeed a Light Elf noble. What are you doing so far from your home and without a weapon or Beast to protect you?" she asked, her voice drawling in boredom when really she was quite interested. She had met a few people without Beasts but rarely would she think a noble would be one of those people, so was she one? Did she have a Beast? She crossed her arms across her chest and listened intently to what she had to say.

Most of the time the female elf did not had a weapon and her beast was allowed to go where he wanted to go. She was able to call him when she needed it him. Instead of having it close to her like a puppy she preferred him to be free with his time. Not that Sadron would even like it to be treating like that. It was a mighty dog, but stubborn as a cat as it sometimes simply refused to obey any of her orders. Unless it noticed it was something serious. Stubborn but loyal and simply a beast to fall in love on. “I don’t need them”. Alice said as she looked at the two, being sure to keep the distance as it was. Coming closer would be seen as a danger, so she knew that staying were she was, was the best to do. “I love to walk on my own, which is not wrong I hope?” She said on an innocent tone as she smiled. She knew her words would cause a reaction but she was sure her words wouldn’t show any other emotion then kindness.
“What about you?” Alice asked, as she did a step closer to the female. “Why are you here?” She was curious about this elf that was surrounded by darkness. It was like an aura noticeable, and she could almost feel the darkness. A feeling Alice preferred not to feel, as it made her feel uncomfortable about her own safety. Yet she knew that with one word, one little sign, she could call Sadron to help her. He probably wouldn’t be far away from her. Her beast had a name that really fitted him, Sadron: In the old elfish language it meant Faithful, and that was something he really was. Again she did a step closer to the female, making her save distance smaller.

Her upper lip curled in a sneer. How dare this girl ask her what she was doing here! She may not be on her lands, but Andee had every right to go anywhere she wished, she was after all the Dark Queen. She watched with arrogant indifference as the elf moved closer to her. No fear was in her eyes, in fact inside their golden depths there lay a challenge. Daring the noble light elf to take the next step and raise a hand to the Queen. Use what pathetic magic she had and try to attack her. But Andee knew she wouldn't. This elf was too cowardly, too scared to raise magic in anger against another. Yet the challenge was still there, mocking the other elf as a dancing little flame in the dark elf's eyes.
"As long as you are not walking where my land is I do not care where you walk," Andee said with boredom and a flick of the wrist. When in truth she cared where every elf stepped. She had to when they could attack at any second. Even the neutral could attack, even her own kind. Why, one might ask, would her own kind attack their Queen? For just that reason, she was their Queen and they could desire her place. If they had the right blood they could very well take it.
Andee sniffed and said, "I am here for speed training, agility training, and the like. See you should know, being a noble and all, that there is a war going on. That we should always be on our toes. Be the best we can be. Otherwise we can be killed during battle. But I assume you don't have to worry about that, noble light elves rarely go into battle." She said the last sentence with disgust.

“Your land?” Alice said as she folded her arms over each other looking at the female, but stopped to walk closer. She obvious did not knew she had the Queen of Darkness in front of her, and even so that would not make any different. Alice believed that everything needed to be threatening the same. There was no such thing as a social ladder. A queen still was the same as an ordinary civilian. “I don’t see why something like this could be your land, and if you don’t want anyone to walk on it, why not make a huge wall around it.” She said obvious making fun of the whole idea as she made a wide movement with her arms. “I’m sure no one would place one step on your ground then.”
A training, interesting. Alice preferred to spend her time other than training, because most of the time she always avoided a fight, but this time that arrogant acting of the female was bothering her. How someone could be so filled with greed and pride at the same time. It made no sense. “The war does not have my interest,” Alice said as she let her arms hang next to her body, giving herself a relaxed pose. She was talking and acting like if they were having a nice conversation about the weather instead of a huge war. “I do not close my eyes for what’s going on in this world, but I’m not going to stand in the line to make things worse to fight.” Alice said as she made a fist of her hands. “The way how you kind are hunting and killing makes no sense at all. You all simply are infected by greed.” Alice said as there was nothing left of her kindness in her voice. She knew how this would end and she mentally started to call her beast. “Sadron, follow my voice. I need your help now.” Other then that elf in front of her she showed her beast some respect and didn’t let it follow her like an animal pet.

She smirked, "There is no need to make a wall around your land when you simply kill someone if you don't like the looks of them walking on it. It creates a wall of its own." She looked up from where she had been staring at her fingernails as the other elf walked closer. Stupid girl, didn't she realize that one only approached a Queen with an invitation unless you were nobility on their side or blood related. Andee couldn't remember inviting the woman to stand so close to her. She was a mere five feet away. With one smooth motion she pulled on of her scimitars from her scabbard, the right one into the left hand, and pointed it at the noble elf. "One should not approach a Queen without their consent. Unless you are challenging them," her words were venomous and irises now a swirling vortex of crimson red. They had switched from the beautiful gold to a deadly blood color the moment she blinked, she wasn't furious, just angry. "Yes I am infected by the sin, everyone is, it is just more prominent in the Dark elves. They are more free. Your kind shackle your desires and feelings for some stupid reason, hiding behind facades of kindness and caring. When in truth you feel it just as much as I do." With that she let out a disgusted growl and and spun, bringing her sword down in a vicious whipping way so fast that the air whistled with the coming attack. It came toward where her shoulder and neck joined on her right side. The Dark elf didn't even bother using her earth element control because this was just a test. Seeing if the woman would attack, if she was afraid, and how powerful she was. Andee was a dangerous woman. One moment she would be discussing things nicely or just with a bored tone, showing no interest and then she would attack with no warning. She was as unpredictable as they came. This time the other elf was lucky because at least Andee had given her some warning to an attack, the pointing of the scimitar had been as close to a warning as anything. So yes, she was going against what she normally did. She was attacking someone without a weapon, but when Andee was angry she didn't think about morals, she just did what felt right. A queen? Alice looked surprised to her. So that was explaining that horrible attitude this female was having. She was the dark queen. “I see..” Alice said as she glared at the female. Queen or not it did not matter for the noble elf. She was a noble too, but she did not act like one. She preferred to have everyone on the same line. As the dark elf approached her, ready for an attack she moved fast but elegant to avoid getting touched by the sharp metal. Alice maybe wasn’t quite the strongest of her kind, but she was fast. Yet when she avoided the first attack of the female she did not made any move to attack the queen. “And a queen shouldn’t fight self. Right?” She said with a smile on her face and her always so nice voice. She noticed her beast Sadron was entering the area behind her and she nodded once without looking at it, keeping her eyes on the two creatures in front of her. Things would get interested as it would be elf against elf, with both a beast on their sides. Sadron maybe a bit smaller than the beast of the dark elf, but she knew how strong he was.
When her beast stood next to her Alice smiled at the elf. “Things really are becoming interesting.” She said with a big smile on her face. However in herself she hated this female without any good reason. She did not hated the female just because she was the queen of the dark side. This automatically means she was an enemy, but yet that wasn’t the real reason.
Alice folded her hands together with again that lovely smile on her face, but when she separated her hands a small light ball was growing in the space between her hands. Growing with every movement she separated her hands more. It was a bright light, everyone who would look in it would get blinded. Some say it was brighter then the sun, just not as hot as it. It was her powers, that were a reflection of her hearth: Light.

Andee scowled as her swipe with her scimitar didn't hit its mark. She just allowed the fury to build though, harnessing it into energy. The ball of light caught her eyes for a few second, it blinded her in her right eye. Blinking desperately she turned her gaze away before both eyes could be filled with the white light. Keeping her eyes n the woman's head she watched her like a big cat waiting for the right moment to leap onto it's prey. This time she drew the second scimitar and made a quick sideways motion with her left hand and the earth underneath her feet seized up and pushed that way. She brought her right weapon down to shoulder level and swung inward to meet her body.
"I always fight for myself. I fight in my own wars and in my own personal battles. I never let anyone else fight for me, it's like someone else talking for you, why would you allow that?" She glowered at the woman. It was just not rude to take a battle away from her, in Andee's opinion. She could fight better than almost anyone in Gira. So she was never worried that she would die during a battle, unless she had more than one person attacking her.
She wasn't even worried now. It was just another fight, just another adrenaline rush. She lived for the adrenaline. Living on the edge gave her so much freedom. She a dangerous to herself, always willing to push herself to the limits and then perhaps a little further. IT was her whole life, sadly, trying to find out when she would officially be forced to stop. When she would be forced to hit that wall and never go further.
