She was leading the troops through to the castle gate. She looked up as did the six other guards, her glance flitted to Donovan and then back to the wall surrounding the gate. She watched as the guards scrambled to pull their bows and train them on the elves standing on the ground beneath them. She raised her hand as the elves in her company, besides Donovan that is because he couldn't wield a weapon for all the gold in the country, raised their crossbows. Slowly and reluctantly they lowered them at the silent command. She smirked confidently at the slightly shaking guards on the wall. She knew what they were thinking, just because she could read their faces so easily. What was the Dark Queen herself doing at the Light Castle?!
Andee was not here to fight. If she was she would have brought many more soldiers. Instead she was here to talk about something most thought was unfathomable between the two races, peace. She nudged Wulf forward and away from her guard, to show she meant no harm she held up her hands, there were no weapons with her today, and her guard only had crossbows. Clearing her throat she called out to the guards on the wall, "I have a proposal for your Queen. I mean no harm. Bring her here and let her decide whether I am worthy of being let into the great Light Kingdom." Even though she was here to make friends she mockingly said the word great.
Though without weapons Andee was far from defenseless and these guards her sister employed knew that. They kept the weapons trained on her and her soldiers while one called down to a messenger, she assumed, behind the gate and told him the message. She wasn't afraid of the guards and their weapons. She showed that because the small smirk still danced on her features, making her look like a black-skinned demon. Like she knew what would happen and she knew they could do nothing to stop her, the guards' hands shook unsteadily as they gazed down at her, surprisingly she was not angry, her eyes a clear gold.

The archmage yawned, apparently bored with this whole concept of arriving with a grand notion of peace and prosperity. Who wouldn't be? He already had calculated their chances of success and now all to worry about would be if the magickless lunkhead of an archduke remembered to uphold his end if the bargain. Donovan's muddy eyes glanced around as he clung to Aeolus with a grip that betrayed his outer calm.
Despite knowing thre was little to worry about, he still found himself worried in this land of his enemies and the allies of his enemies. Aoelus had been carrying the boy's weight fo almost the entirety of the trip from the dark to the light nation without seeming the least but exhausted, perhaps from the anxiety that Donovan felt. Only the boy and his stag would know the truth of the matter.
When the two arrived at the castle and were threatened with weaponry, the archmage sat up and both his fists became balls o pure wind, ready to sent any enemy flying and any arrow of their path. However as it became clear that his queen wanted to look peaceful, he opened his palms and the fierce tornadoes wihin them simmered down and were released as a breeze less noticeable than the exhale of a newborn child.
He hugged the soft blue neck of his Beast and waited for his queen to be allowed entry and for these stirrings of peace to finally by recognized as legitimate.

Somehow Aria had known that company was fast approaching the castle walls, leaping down from the tree in her room she walked out into the long hallways. A messenger was already running towards her, he was a younger boy and seemed to be a new member to the castle. Clumsy and with two left feet the boy tripped in front of her, Aria let a smile grow upon her face as she helped the boy up. “She- the…” he was completely out of breathe, but Aria understood what he was trying to say. “My sister, is here. Thank you, maybe you could wake Delmare for me?” Resting a hand on the boys shoulder, Aria nodded and then continued down the hallway.
After a few minutes she could hear the soft click of nails against the marble flooring, Delmare was quick on his feet. “You never wake me up when something even mildly interesting happens” He whined as his young voice filled her mind. “Oh shush Delmare, you’re here now aren’t you?” The wolf did not answer but instead, trotted beside her. They made it outside in no time at all, but rather then climb the walls that looked out over the kingdom she chose to open the doors. Aria and her people were safe here, it would be foolish for her sister to attack. For one their castles only helped them in power, and seeing as how her sister was on her grounds Aria would have the upper hand.
All the same, if Aria ventured to Andarial’s castle she would be the one in danger. But the second reason was that Aria knew only too well that Andarial wouldn’t take her sister down here. She’d probably want a real battlefield. The large heavy gates opened and Aria walked out with her bow strapped securely on her back, but she would not be using it anytime soon. “Hello sister, it’s been far too long since I last saw you.” Delmare’s muscles twitched as he waited for any sign of an attack. He wasn’t a killer; he just liked the idea of some kind of action. “Please come in, I have already sent word to the kitchen. We can all settle down and eat. Delmare can lead your soldiers to the armory where they can set everything down and have a table of their own.”She knew her sister probably hated her, but there was no point in standing outside when they may as well be comfortable.

Her eyes lit up with excitement as she saw her sister, Aria, step through the gates. She hadn't changed much since Andee had last seen her on the battle field. She was still the thin light version of Andee. Beautiful and wonderful in the heart. Seeming to have no sins in her, though Andee knew that to be false, the sins were just hidden. Anger flared through her when she saw Aria. Anger that soon replaced the excitement. She suddenly was catapulted back into the past when she and Wulf had been thrown from these very gates. She wavered on the edge of erupting the ground in an earthquake, but then Reyn's face appeared in her mind, reminding her why she was there. She wouldn't attack her sister, she would stop this war, for a while at least.
So with a gracious bow of her head, Andee nudged her heels into Wulf's ribs and they moved forward leading her guard. "I agree, Aria, far too long," it was a half-lie. She wasn't even sure if she could stand being in her sister's presence, but she had to at least try at a truce. Then perhaps her and Reyn could be together more often. "How have you been?" She motioned to her soldiers to follow, Delmare. After moving through the gates and into the safety of the kingdom, if you could call the Light Citadel safe for one of the dark. Andee placed her hands on either side of her body, bought herself up and swept herself down onto the ground. All of this was done quite gracefully and beautifully, no nervousness shown.
She patted Wulf's side affectionately,Keep your eyes out for anything dangerous, Wulf. She thought to him. He grunted into her mind and his eyes scanned the area. Andee didn't think Aria would try to kill her, it would be very much unlike her sister as she was the one who had always wanted a truce. But one could never tell with a Featherstone.

To say Donovan was not nervous would be an outright lie. However, this nervousness was largely ignored, for it would do no good for the great and powerful archmage to tremble in fear like the small boy he was. He shook himself of drowsiness, for the journey here and his last few days without rest only asked him to fall asleep on the rippling muscles and gentle rocking motions of his Beast. The blue peryton dipped his head and raised it again, snout pointing upwards and lifting his long, powerful legs high with every step in showoffy pride.
To this the boy could only laugh and stroke the soft blue fur of his beast, immediately feeling calmed by the playful acts Aeolus put on for show, enjoying the attention and stretching out his wings before folding them again, waiting for entry. He stayed decidedly silent as the sisters spoke, his mud eyes instead looking towards the people that watched this great commotion. None of them were of much interest to him, but it would be good to write down the demographics of the light land- he did not know of it as well as he would like to know of it.
This surveying was put to an end when the group was herded to the castle. He also mentally took notes of the world around him, the walls and floor and decoration all to write down for the next generation, his little book, while he was still sane enough to do so. Small, thin fingers clutched that book now, holding it to the archmage's equally small and thin chest, at the mere thought. Within a moment, he was ripped away from this world and to his inner mind as flashes of pictures of maddened scrawls, gibberish warning of the end of times, of fire and brimstone and pages full of nothing but pictures written in ink, blood, anything that the writer could find at the time.
...Would he, too, fall?
These thoughts were buried as they always were, interrupted by the gentle nipping of Aeolus. Are you thinking those thoughts again? Damned child, sometimes I think that your lineage only die early because of that dark mind of yours. The stag chided gently before walking into the castle halls, politely following the two queens with only silence announcing his hoofs on the floor. Donovan was similarly quiet, glancing around and noting everything about everything to write down later. Of course, he paid attention to the queens as well, but... everything was just so fascinating that concentrating on any one thing would just be silly.
